The entire Harry Potter series started with Harry Potter One, which was started by producer David Heman.He was searching for a good children’s novel for his production company named Heyday Films.And after a lot of searching, the staff of his company told him the name of a book which was Harry Potter written by J.K. Rowling which he liked very much.And he pitched it to Warner Bros. And in 1999, Warner Bros. bought the rights to 4 parts of J.K. Rowling’s book for 1 million pounds.

After purchasing the rights of this book, Warner Bros. offered Jurassic Pack movie director Steven Spielberg to direct this movie.But Steven Spielberg wanted to make this movie an animation movie in which he chose the famous child actor of that time Hailey Joel Osment to voice Harry Potter in this movie.But Warner Bros did not like this plan of Steven Spielberg, so Warner Bros contacted Chris Columbus who directed the Home Alone movie, then Chris Columbus wrote a 130 page screen play, then Chris Columbus and  Warner Bros contacted him and then he selected him for movie

FACT 13

After planning the entire movie, auditions for the actors for the movie started but J.K. Rowling’s demand that she want to see only British actors in this movie.then 5000 British actors  were auditioned for the role of Harry Potter, but the film makers did not like any of them.But after that Chris Columbus caught the attention of BBC’s special movie David Copperfield which was released in 1999 he see his child actor Daniel Radcliffe who played the role of young David Copperfield in the movie.But Daniel Radcliffe’s parents were against the role in this movie but after a lot of convincing, they agreed.

Tom Felton, who played Melfoy in the series, did not do any preparation or read the story for this movie when Chris Columbus interviewed Tom Felton.But he gave all the same answers as the previous contestant and he had this attitude or confidence. Chris Columbus liked it but in real Tom Felton came for the role of Harry’s bestfriend Ron.

Rupert Grint was cast for the role of Harry Potter’s best friend Ron Weasley, who made a rap video for the audition wearing his teacher’s uniform.And he was sent for audition and Emma Watson’s school teacher gave her immediate consent for the role of Hermione Granger.

First film makers J.K. Rowling was asked to play the role of Harry Potter’s mother Lily Potter, but she refused.Than film makers selected Geraldine Samourville for Harry Potter’s mother Lily Potter.

To shoot this movie, the film makers were requested to shoot in England and the film makers chose Leavesden Film Studios for shooting on 29 September 2000.This is where the shooting of the harry potter movie started or the railway station shown in the film, whether they were shooting the North Yorkshires Goathland railway station or Alwick castle and Gloucester cathedral were chosen for Hogwarts.

At that time, the government had imposed very strict rules for child labour, while the film makers had made a time table for all the children.Will shoot the film for 4 hours and study for 3 hours. In this movie, when the child was shot while studying, they actually doing his homework.

In the book, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger are shown a little different. In the book, Harry Potter’s eyes are green but Daniel Radcliffe’s eyes are blue.That’s why he had to use contact lenses but Daniel Radcliffe had trouble wearing contact lenses because the film makers made Harry Potter’s eyes blue.Hermione Granger’s teeth were very bad in the book. Emma Watson was supposed to use plastic teeth but because she was having trouble speaking, the film makers changed the plan.

For the special effects in the movie, production designer Stuart Craig designed the great hall of Hogwarts and created many monsters using CGI with the help of Industian Light Magic and Ritham Studios.

People from the first part of the Harry Potter movie are known by two different tiles, one is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.And the name of the second one is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.This happened right from the beginning of the book, when in order not to confuse the American audience, scholastic publications called it Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Due to the movie having two titles, this movie was shot twice where they had to keep the Sarsarer’s Stone and it was called Sarsarer’s Stone.

The relationship between Harry Potter and Professor Snape was not shown well in the movie, but the series In the last part it was revealed that Professor Snape is the guardian angel of Harry Potter and he wanted to play the role of Professor Snape J.K. She got tips from Rowling and then she did her role till the end.

There are some scenes in the movie which are completely different from the story of the book and the movie. For example, in the movie, Harry Potter and Malfoy met in school.But in the book, both of them meet Madam Melcome’s rope. In the movie, Nobert is given to Harry Hegret, but in the book, Harry gives Nobert to Charles Wesley’s friends.And because of this Finch gives them detention which includes Harry’s friends along with Malfoy and Novel.
